There is still a lot of work to be done on the new site, such as the FAQ, but the Breeder and Dragon templates are done, so once you join you may begin creating your Breeder page — or copying it from the old site — and doing likewise with your Dragons.

One minor but important change that all Dragons will be under dragon: now instead of tree:. Please be sure to replace all tree: with dragon: in your wiki pages as you transition over to ensure that we stay organized. I have plans for tree: later.

If anyone has any questions or needs any help please drop by our IRC channel by clicking the Chat link above. I should be around and able to answer questions most of the time, so please join us!

Oh joy.

So I came here this afternoon to add two dragons. After the initial shock of having lost my page I read your message and immediately spend the next few hours copying and pasting. *groans* Of course it turns out that this simply isn't my day, because after that I came back much more relaxed to properly thank you and reread your message.

in nasty bold letters for those of us that either don't speak english as a native language or simply are to overwhelmed to read carefully? I fear now I'm officially the first who messed up her page. *sighs*

Anyway, thanks for taking over dragontrees. I'd really missed this place.

Yes, I realize now I should have bolded that and made it a bit more obvious. I do apologize for that. I'm also going to make a news update requesting people to please keep all their breeder information on a single page. I've got people making pages like tree:dragon-pairs and then not even linking back to their own page.

I know Masks didn't have time to stay on top of everyone about it, but with the fresh start I intent to make this wiki much neater and more productive for everyone in general.

Huzzah, good to have the site back! :D It going down with no explanation was a major WTF for me.

Same here. I actually thought about coming up with an alternative or asking if someone else could take over the management but it was for my own sake more than any other so… :)

Yes, I felt that shock last night around 2 in the morning when I went to update my page. I was not the happy camper that stayed up for 2 hours copying and pasting. :

I really appreciate everyone's understanding as we transition. I have been working hard to make this as streamlined as possible and have tried to post regular updates as policies are made or changed to help people transition smoothly.

I really would love to see all of you on our IRC chat, which can be reached by the link at the top of the page. I'd be more than happy to answer any questions or help in any way that I can.
