How do I create my Breeder page?
Click the top link marked Breeders and in the first box put your Dragon Cave Scroll name and click create page. It will create a page with a template for putting some basic information about yourself and your Dragons into!
How do I link to my Breeder page?
To link to your breeder page or anyone else just use [[[breeder:<username>]]] anywhere the site accepts Wiki code, such as the forum or on your Dragon pages!
How do I create a page for my Dragon(s)?
Click the top link marked Dragons and in the first box put your Dragon's name and click create page. It will create a page with a template for putting both basic and advance Dragon information into. Repeat the process to create additional Dragon pages!
How do I link to my Dragon pages?
To link to your dragon's pages or any other dragon pages just use [[[dragon:<dragon name>]]] anywhere the site accepts wiki code, such as the forums or on your Breeder and Dragon pages.
How do I create sub pages for my breeder page?
To create pages of extra content for your breeder or Dragon pages just use [[[<username>:<new page>]]]. Replace <username> with your Dragon Scroll name, just as it appears for your Breeder page URL.
E.G.: [[[alia-guyat:breeding-calendar]]]
Save your page, click the created link and select the option to create the page. Add your content and save!
Are there other Gender Symbols?
Yes! Here are three ways to do gender symbols:
♂ or ♀ |
##33CCFF|♂## or ##FF6699|♀## |

How do I create tables?
There are two ways to create tables, so let's go with the simpler one!
How do I make more advanced tables?
The process is fairly similar to making a basic table. Here are some examples:
Example 1 |
---|
||~ Header||~ Header 2|| ||||= Content|| ||Content||Content|| |
Header | Header 2 |
---|---|
Content | |

Example 2 |

||||||~ Gold Pairs||||||~ Silver Pairs|| ||= Dragon||= x||= Dragon||= Dragon||= x||= Dragon|| |
Gold Pairs | Silver Pairs | ||||
---|---|---|---|---|---|

Can I do line breaks in my tables?
Absolutely! You just need to use an underscore (_) at the end of the line you want to manually break, like so:
How do I color my text?
There are two ways to do this. One is using named colors, the other way is through the use of hex codes.
Named Colors Method |
---|
##blue|blue## |
Hex Codes Method |
---|
##0000FF|blue## |
Both give you: blue
Check out the Color Codes tab for a list of color codes for the various Dragon Breeds!
How do I center an image?
Just use a equal sign (=) in front of the word image, like so:
[[=image <URL>]] |
How do I turn an image into a link?
The code on this can be a bit tricky, but here it is:
[[image <URL> link="<URL>"]] |
How do I make tabs?
Tabs are a simple, but VERY useful way to organize content on your pages.
To create more tabs just add more [[tab <NAME>]]<CONTENT>[[/tab]] sections inside the [[tabview]][[/tabview]] tags. Tabs cannot be nested within another group of tabs, so you cannot do:
Example 2 |
---|
[[tabview]] [[tab <NAME> [[tabview]] [[tab <NAME>]] [[/tab]] [[/tabview]] [[tab]] [[/tabview]] |
How do I create those collapsible boxes?
Like tabs, collapsible sections are very useful to organizing long sections of content on a Breeder or Dragon page. Here is the code to create the boxes:
Example |
---|
[[collapsible show="Show" hide="Hide" folded="yes"]] Text text text text text text text text text [[/collapsible]] |
Gives us:
Just like tabs, collapsible boxes may not be nested, so don't try to use a second collapsible box inside another box.
To change whether it starts visible or hidden just change folded to no for starting out visible and yes for starting out hidden. You can change the show and hide text to anything you like.
How do I make a comment box?
Quite simply:
[[module Comments title="TEXT" hide="false"]] |
For more ways to customize the look of the comment box check out the Wiki help section!
How do I join the chat?
Click the Chat link on the navigation above, replace Guest with your nick and click Connect!
Can I connect with my own client?
Absolutely! Here is the server information for our IRC chat:
Server: irc.technoized.com
Port: 6667
Channel: #DragonTrees
We recommend the free chat client X-Chat 2 for Windows but there are many IRC clients out there, such as mIRC for Windows, Colloquy for Macs and Konversation for Linux.
What are some basic commands?
Here are some common commands used on the server:
Register a nickname |
---|
/ns register <password> <email> Use a strong password you will remember and an real email address! |
Identify yourself |
/ns identify <password> |
Change Nicknames |
/nick <newnickname> |
Join Another Channel |
/join #<channel> You must put the # before the channel name or it won't work! |
Perform Emotes |
/me roars! So it looks like: * Alia_Guyat roars! |
Message Someone |

This guide is intended to help promote responsible breeding and help dragon tenders by aiding breeders in acquiring the various breeds of Dragons and identifying them as early on as possible. There are many spoilers in this guide, so if you wish to figure such things out yourself please do not read it.
Information will be updated regularly as it becomes available - usually within 2 weeks of TJ's dragons growing up (because there are often slight changes shortly after the Release, and it needs adult dragons to determine the Breeding behaviour of the new breeds).
Please post your feedback here on the DC forums! Whether it's about information you'd like to see included or excluded, anything that needs to be updated or general things, feedback is always welcome!
Enjoy the guide!

You can see the baby dragon curled up inside this translucent egg. | Aww… It's a cute baby dragon. Its skin is smooth and doesn't seem to have any color to it. | And look! It's grown its wings! It must be close to maturing. | Albino dragons are so named because their translucent, scale-less skin lacks all pigment. Instead, to help protect their bodies from the sun, they are coated in an oily secretion that blocks the sun's harmful rays. The call of an albino dragon is similar to a barn owl—a shriek instead of a roar. |

This delicately patterned egg is sitting in the sunshine. | Aww… It’s a cute baby dragon. It seems very friendly and loves the sunshine. | And look! It has grown brightly-colored wings! It must be close to maturing. | Anagallis Dragons are a medium-sized omnivorous breed. Widespread and adaptable, their easygoing nature enables them to flourish under most conditions. They are social creatures, fun-loving and outgoing, and will readily defend smaller dragons from others’ aggression. They are fond of sunshine, and can often be found basking on rocks; on cloudy or stormy days they are more reluctant to venture out, and will often hide themselves away until the weather is more favorable | ||

This egg is surrounded by mysterious, reflective dust. | Aww… It’s a cute baby dragon. Its scales give off a blinding light. | And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing. | Antarean Dragons are peaceful creatures shrouded in mystery. They are primarily found in the desert where they get most of their nutrients from sunbathing. Their most notable traits are their highly reflective manes and the mysterious light emitted by their scales which fades from bright, nearly blinding yellow-white into dim red as the dragons get older. Legend claims that they are otherworldly beings that came to this world when a meteor struck. | |

This bright egg has a warm shell. | Aww… It’s a cute baby dragon. It’s brightly colored and chirps quite often. | And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing. | Aria dragons are a brightly-colored and sprightly breed, perhaps most adored for their lyric calls. Their song-like melodies fill the areas they inhabit; their coos resemble those of birds, only more elegant and refined. They have fairly strong magical capabilities, but tend to reserve these strengths for last-minute defense, choosing to live their lives in simple peace. Arias, sticking to the tropics, typically live quite far from human settlements, giving rise to the previously held belief that they had gone extinct. | |
Notes | ||||
Availability: all year, from cave and breeding Genders: male or female Breeding: will breed with any other standard-breedable dragon Biomes: Jungle Additional details at the DC Wiki: Aria Dragon Arias used to be Bright Pinks before they were dicontinued. Then they bred only Pink eggs. After their re-release as Arias, they usually breed Aria eggs (or their partner's breed, of course), but still occasionally breed Pink eggs. |

This light egg is floating in the air. | Aww… It's a cute baby dragon. It's very light and enjoys bouncing all around. | And look! It's grown its wings! It must be close to maturing. | Balloon dragons are so named because they are filled with a gas that makes them almost lighter than air, similar to balloons. However, they are not prone to bursting, as they are covered in tough skin and can deflate themselves if necessary. In addition, they generally are slow moving. They use their gas bladders to float to the tops of trees, where food is more abundant. They can shift their weight from their backs to their fronts, allowing them to reach leaves and fruit. |

Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night. | ||

This egg has a black cap. | Aww… It’s a cute baby dragon. It likes to chase fish in shallow water. | And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing. | Black Capped Teimarr are a small and sociable breed of dragon with an appetite for seafood. They can commonly be seen flitting around sand dunes and tidal marshes, searching for crabs and other aquatic vertebrates, or cavorting in tidal pools in hopes of finding landlocked fish. Because of their large wing-to-body size, they are excellent long distance fliers and are known to migrate hundreds of miles along coastlines, or even across open sea to outlying islands in search of seasonal delicacies such as bird eggs, fledglings and schooling bait fish. The males are easily distinguished by their large jousting horns and their extendable neck frill, which they show off to the females through enthusiastic head bobbing. | ||

This egg has a faintly exotic scent. | Aww… It’s a cute baby dragon. It loves to chase butterflies. | And look, it has grown wings that release a faint, spicy scent when it waves them. Though many creatures enjoy being in the vicinity of Black Tea dragons, the scent is intended to draw in swarms of butterflies. Though Black Tea dragons are full sized dragons, these insects are the mainstay of their diet. | |

This egg is off-white in color and smells a bit like salt. | Aww… It’s a cute baby dragon. It keeps trying to catch fish in a nearby pond. | And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing. | Blacktip dragons are a small, shore-dwelling breed that tend to nest on sheer ocean side cliffs. They live in groups under a dominant female, who prevents her subordinates from breeding. During the mating season, a group of Blacktips can be very noisy and smelly indeed; males produce a distinctive musky odor and loud, low-pitched honking noises in an attempt to woo the alpha female. |

This egg shines brilliantly in moonlight, and is covered in red spots. | Aww… It’s a cute baby dragon. It’s clear that night is its favourite time. | And look! It has grown wings and turned red on its back! It must be close to maturing. | Bleeding Moon Dragons are mostly nocturnal creatures. When outside in the sun, the small red spatters on their back grow and spread, making the dragons appear to ‘bleed’. It is said that the darker the shade of red, the more aggressive the dragon. Their tail barbs contain a powerful neuro-toxin which they use to subdue their prey. They are solitary creatures except when mating, preferring to dwell in the caves in mountains or other high places. Their large wingspan makes them fast flyers as well as fast runners, but they prefer to glide instead. Males are very competitive and will try almost everything to impress a female, who will choose their mates based on their speed and performance. Juveniles tend to form bachelor groups once fledged. | |

It must be close to maturing. | Blue-Banded Dragons are found primarily in mountainous regions with lots of precipitation. Although terrestrial, they are most often sighted near running water and feed mostly on fish. Females are very social and form tight-knit family groups, while males are strictly solitary and will fight any other dragons that enter their territory outside of breeding season. For this reason, females tend to drive males away when they are not ready to mate, or when they are caring for hatchlings. The amount of striping varies greatly from individual to individual, with some dragons having only faint dark streaks on their sides and others appearing to be almost entirely dark blue with paler markings. |

This egg smells faintly like brine. | Aww… It’s a cute baby dragon. It has wings—but no hind legs—and it enjoys flying by the ocean. | And look! It has grown another set of wings. It must be close to maturing. | Blusang Lindwurms are quite different than most dragons in that they lack hind legs. In this regard, they resemble snakes, and this is evident in their movement; these lindwurms slither along the ground, using their forelegs to lift them over rougher terrain. Blusangs are a coastal breed, prefering to live along rocky beaches and in seaside caves rather than sandy locations. They are omnivores who graze on seaweed from time to time, although their primary form of sustinence is fish. | ||

This egg is covered in speckles. | Aww… It's a cute baby dragon. It's rather plain looking, though. | And look! They are a small species, only the size of a full-grown man. However, they have developed poisonous barbs on their feet to make up for their size. Their colouration is used to warn off potential predators of the danger, and is also used to attract mates. They are very social, and can often be seen preening in large groups. | ||

It's bright. And pink. | Aww… It's a cute baby dragon. You think it's a girl, although you're not sure how to check. | And look! It's grown its wings! This egg smells rather rancid. | Aww… It’s a cute baby dragon. It seems to consume charcoal and ashes. | And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing. | Brimstone Dragons live in dry arid areas such as deserts where they feed mainly on sheep, goats and the occasional camel. Their favorite habitat is ideally situated close to the wastelands around active volcanoes. This is due to an important part of their diet—sulfur, which they obtain from deposits near volcanic gas vents. Instead of fire, these dragons use the sulfur they ingest to create a noxious gas which they store in their large throat pouches. When in danger, this gas is released in a large cloud. They also eat other mineral rich substances—including charcoal—and will drink the mineral rich (but slightly acidic) water commonly found in deserts and volcanic regions. |

The absence of magic often makes other creatures avoid them, though some will have the opposite reaction and seek refuge instead. When confronted, it is often the case that one head wants to fight, while the other wants to run, resulting in the dragon trying to go in two directions at once. They are omnivorous, choosing to eat both vegetation and meat—although perhaps this is just another outcome of their indecisiveness. Both heads can control the body, with each head having only marginal control on the opposing side of the body; this works when both halves want the same thing, but does not work as well when there is a disagreement. Despite this, Duotone Dragons can fly quite well, but can crash through the trees if one head becomes distracted. Their dully glowing markings serve many purposes; acting as a means of identification between individuals, as an important part of mating displays, and as a way of showing aggression. The long, low build of the breed makes them ungainly in flight, and the thick fleshy membranes of their wings hinder them further. As such, it is rare to see an ember dragon take to the air. Frost is creeping over this cold egg. | Aww… It’s a cute baby dragon. It blends into the snow. | And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing. | Frostbite dragons first appear at the beginning of winter, creeping in with the frosts. They have found their place in human lore as the spirits of snow, since they only reveal themselves in during icy weather. In the depths of winter, they cover the world in blankets of snow and are believed to be responsible for the glittering frost that creeps over everything. Although they appear cold and distant, they are actually rather mischievous and enjoy spending time dancing through blizzards. |

It’s grown a forked spade at the end of its tail and long, tufted whiskers! It must be close to maturing. | Gemshard Dragons are small, gregarious, expressive easterns, living in large clans high in the jungle canopy. Their bodies are covered in tiny, gem-like scales that shimmer in direct light, and each dragon has a unique pattern of markings on the forked spade of its tail. Though Gemshard Easterns cannot fly, they often leap from springy branches high into the sky on sunny days and perform acrobatic spins and twirls to entertain themselves. When the weather turns foul, they pile up together on sturdy tree limbs and interlock the forks of their tails with others to keep warm and dry. | |

Their skin is tough and covered in razor sharp, tooth-like scales, and as they age they grow a dense, keratinous club on the end of their tail. Wild Hooktalons live in migratory, matriarchal clans around deserts and hot scrublands, hunting and stealing kills from other dragons as they please. They are notoriously ill-tempered and the females, being the largest and most aggressive of their kind, will often lash out at their male counterparts in brief, explosive disputes over anything and everything. This dense, crystalline egg seems dangerously unstable. | Aww… It’s a cute baby dragon. It has two heads and bright, glowing eyes. | And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing. | Nexus Dragons are massive, volatile beasts surging with magical power. Each half of a Nexus Dragon’s body is infused with fire or ice mana, and it is believed that the unstable nature of these paired elements drives the dragon mad as it grows in size and strength. They are strict carnivores, preferring to feed on dragons and other creatures that naturally possess magic in order to bolster their own stores. As Nexus Dragons age, fire and ice mana crystals grow all over their bodies, enhancing both their power and viciousness. | ||

This dull purple egg has two bright stripes on it. | Aww… It’s a cute baby dragon. It already has a pair of wings, but it can’t fly very well with them. | And look! It’s gotten bigger and has grown a second pair of wings, making it able to fly better than any hatchling you’ve ever seen. | Nhiostrife wyverns are one of the few known breeds of wyvern with more than one set of wings. Because of their four wings, Nhiostrifes are very nimble in the air and have complete control their own movements with ease. When it’s mating season, males put up a very beautiful and unique air dance in an attempt to charm a female. The amount of stripes on their wings vary, with more stripes being more attractive, although most have only two to four. Their general attitude is very passive and curious—they only fight if they themselves or their family are in danger. |

This leaves them vulnerable and they rely on camoflague to keep themselves safe. They are often mistaken for statues when in this frozen state, but Nocturne dragons do not actually turn into stone. Pillow dragons have a habit of sleeping for up to eighteen hours a day, waking only in short bursts. During their few waking hours, they take the time to hunt for prey. As such, the majority of a Pygmy's diet is scavenged, though they do hunt songbirds and small mammals when the pickings are slim. This egg has brightly colored markings on it. | Aww… It's a cute baby dragon. It is very aggressive, and has brilliant turqoise markings all over its body. | And look! It's grown its wings! It must be close to maturing. | Spitfires are a desert breed of dragon. Their dull brown bodies contrast with their brilliant turquoise markings, and they only blaze brighter when these dragons fight. Spitfires are notorious for for their territorial natures, and the wing-edges of most are ripped and tattered before their first year is out. Spitfires are also noteworthy for their brilliant blue fire, which is used not for hunting or fighting, but rather for making glass caves from the sand, in which the dragons can soak up the sun. |

It must be close to maturing. | Spotted Greenwings are relatively small nocturnal dragons. Easily recognizable by the fleshy appendages growing off of their head and rump, they are most commonly seen in forests at night, leaping and soaring from tree to tree. While generally social, spotted greenwings are very quiet and rarely make any sort of vocalization. Their bodies are unusually warm to the touch, though they are unable to breathe fire. A voracious feeder, Greenwings will consume nearly any living thing that they can fit in their mouths. |

This egg has brightly colored markings on it. | Aww… It's a cute baby dragon. It spends its time pouncing on insects. | And look! It's grown its wings! It must be close to maturing, and it is now covered in brightly colored stripes. | Striped dragons come in a dazzling array of colors, complemented by an intricate pattern of stripes. These bright colors and patterns help attract their favorite food, insects. Because their prey is so tiny, striped dragons must spend a large portion of their day eating. The color of the dragon is usually determined by the dragon's mate. | |

They feed primarily on large spiders, but will also eat carrion, other insects, and larger prey when necessary. Tarantula Hawk Drakes are typically quite docile, preferring to mind their own business. However, when threatened or provoked, these drakes will attempt to stab the opponent with the stinger on their tail to inject a powerful venom. This sting is at the very least extremely painful, and even if the toxins don’t paralyze the attacker, the pain is likely to distract them enough for the drake to escape. |

There is a thin layer of moisture coating this egg. | Aww… It’s a cute baby dragon. Water behaves strangely around it, though the hatchling doesn’t seem to notice. | And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing. | Undine Dragons are named for the water spirits with which they share territory. They have close relationships with these spirits, and are able to communicate with them. In exchange for protection and respect of their mutual freshwater homes, laid eggs are often protected by a blessing. This blessing stays with the dragon into adulthood, and with it they gain potent magical abilities. Sometimes when an Undine Dragon becomes very upset, the ground at their feet may frost over or begin to steam. They have also been observed to manipulate water directly, rerouting raindrops or creating puddles from groundwater. Undine Dragons always live near forest pools, streams, or waterfalls. Both genders take equal part in the raising of young and are very good parents—though they may not remain mated after the offspring are grown. | ||

They are very violent, and will use these vines to capture, kill, and eat anything it sees that moves, as well as nearby plants. Luckily, its range is limited, and it can't use magic. It must be close to maturing. | Shimmer-scale dragons are a very beautiful breed with small—but highly reflective—scales that shimmer and shine as the dragon moves through water. They don’t have fins or webbed feet, but their long, eel-like bodies allow them to swim quite fast. They were once rumored to carry large pearls in their claws—causing many to seek them out in search of this fabulous treasure. In reality, the “pearl” is of greater value to the dragon, for the fabled treasure is actually an egg carried by a migrating female. |

The markings on this egg match the weather outside. | Aww…It's a cute baby dragon. It perfectly depicts <season> weather. | And look! It's grown its wings! It must be close to maturing. | Seasonal dragons take on the characteristics of the season they are born in. Thus, eggs that are laid in spring match the pink flowers and green buds of Spring, and those that are laid in the summer grow to depict the bright green of the forest trees and the yellow of the sun. Eggs laid in Autumn display the bright colors of leaves falling from trees, and those that are laid during Winter take on the appearance of the icy snow. | ||

This egg glows mysteriously. | Aww… It's a cute baby dragon. It seems very protective. | And look! It's grown its wings! It must be close to maturing. | This breed of dragon was thought to exist only in legend. Although their name varies between cultures, they are often referred to as "Guardians of Nature." They are able to channel the forces of fire, ice and lightning, which allows them to wield tremendous power. Seen very rarely, it is thought that they only become active when something is threatening the territory they have chosen to guard. In order to protect their chosen home, these dragons are incredibly adaptable; they have been seen everywhere from remote mountain ranges, to ancient forests, to the darkest depths of the ocean. |

Chocolate-brown fins have grown on its back and tail, and the scent is much stronger now. | Heartseeker Dragons are very social creatures that emanate a sweet chocolatey scent. Their captivating perfume easily attracts adult dragons that don't yet have a mate. Heartseekers use their keen sense of smell to detect solitary dragons and potential mates in the area. By rubbing their fins against objects such as trees and rocks, they leave a scent trail for the other dragons to follow to meet each other. Although these dragons are seen year-round, the scent of a Heartseeker becomes particularly potent during the middle of February. They are born with the innate ability to sense the emotions of others in their own species, and therefore take great care to ensure the happiness of their brethren. It’s not uncommon for them to give gifts and affection to those around them without warning. This good-natured giving extends far beyond the reaches of their own kind. Anyone who gains the friendship of a Arsani Dragon is likely to receive food, pretty rocks, and occasionally even flowers at regular intervals. With its new scales, it’s even shinier! It must be close to maturing. | Heartstealing dragons are an unusual breed, named for their mating rituals. These dragons use their long, slender bodies to sneak into both human (and dragon) holds to steal things over the year. Then, when the right season hits, they give away their entire hoard as gifts, leaving things in the homes of other dragons to attract them. When these gifts are found, however, the recipients can’t always tell who gave the gifts. This receiver often assumes the source of the gift was the original owner, causing them to form friendly bonds with other dragons in the area, spreading peace—and sometimes even sparking love. The only way to know if a gift is from a Heartstealing Dragon is to find one of their wafer-thin scales at the scene. |

This lovely egg has rolled off to the side. | Aww… It’s a cute baby dragon. Its behavior is sporadic—solitary one minute, friendly the next. | And look! It has grown wings! However, when winter begins to wane, these normally grouchy dragons undergo a massive personality shift and become excessively chipper and incredibly social with the solitary focus of pairing up themselves—and other—dragons. They become such annoyingly happy and persistent match-makers that other dragons have been known to pretend to be pairs when one is in the area, just to avoid the attentions of the Mutamore Dragons. This temporary pairing up tends to lead otherwise disinterested dragons into a better appreciation of one another, resulting in lasting relationships. The older a Black Marrow dragon is, the more skeletal their appearance. They often use their skeletal looks to lure in foolish scavengers or terrify predators. These vicious dragons love nothing more than to crack open bones with their stony beaks and eat the marrow inside. Voracious scavengers, Black Marrows will swarm and devour corpses both old and fresh, sometimes even dragging larger finds to the water to allow them to "ripen". Cavern Lurkers have an odd aversion to sunlight and almost never venture out during the day. More commonly sighted are the odd piles of bones they stack near the entrance to their dens. Their mating call is a low-pitched bumping noise. | |

This egg appears to have an evil grin. | Aww… It’s a cute baby dragon. No matter where it goes or what you do, you find this hatchling staring at you. | And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing. | Grave Dragons are not named for their connections to death or burial, but for the grave expression on their faces. This strange expression is used as a defense mechanism that causes fits of panic and terror in potential predators. Since they only eat ash and charcoal, they do not hunt. Grave Dragons are powerful fire-breathers and have been known to burn down forests and villages alike to make meals. It is believed that the markings on each Grave Dragon’s wings are the faces of those who have lost their lives in fires started by that dragon. | |

Being near this egg makes it hard to think clearly. | Aww… It’s a cute baby dragon. You have trouble focusing when it gets angry. | And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing. | Desipis Dragons are an extremely dangerous breed, synonymous with the paths of desolation they leave in their wakes. These gargantuan beasts are infamous for their innate ability to control and manipulate the minds of others, which they use to pulverize the sanities of their foes and forge false memories. This power is especially effective on the foolish, and only the strongest-willed individuals have been known to resist a Desipis’s cunning. Most who anger Desipises do not live to tell the tale. Desipis Dragons are especially feared for their uncanny power of absorbing the magic of others with the fire they breathe and converting it into the bright reserves of crystallized mana that decorate their bodies. | ||

The pattern on this egg’s shell is unsettling. | Aww… It’s a cute baby dragon. It skitters around in the shadows, seemingly repelled by light. | And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing. | Caligene Dragons have long been considered omens of death—reinforced by the skeletal markings on their bodies. They exert a malignant force on the world around them, causing other living things to slowly waste away in their presence. Caligenes favor the seasons of summer and autumn, disappearing entirely from the forests they inhabit during winter and spring. These malevolent dragons are physically weak, though this is countered by their natural stealthiness and alarming speed—enabling them to close in on large targets quickly and silently to create ambushes from which prey cannot escape. | ||

This egg is an odd green color. | Aww… It's a cute baby dragon. It looks very sick, as though it wasn't very well looked after… | And look! It's grown its wings! It must be close to maturing. | This breed of dragon results from eggs or hatchlings that have been neglected. They are usually rebellious, not obeying their masters, sometimes even attacking them. However, their neglect as a hatchling leaves them crippled, and they are weak compared to other breeds, causing them to stay with their masters for protection. | |||
Notes | ||||||
Availability: all year Genders: male, female or ungendered Breeding: cannot breed Biomes: none, must be created Additional details at the DC Wiki: Neglected Dragon There are different theories on how to get a Neglected Dragon. Nowadays, it seems to require an egg or hatchling gaining the views it needs to survive only very shortly before it would die. Sharing too detailed information about this is considered Reverse Engineering and forbidded via the ToS of DragCave. |

none | It's an undead baby dragon, produced by a failed magical spell. It probably would be cute if it weren't partially decayed. | And look! It somehow managed to grow wings despite being dead. | Failed attempts to experiment with magic often result in transforming dragons into these hellish creatures. They are extremely dangerous, and will mindlessly kill any living creature without regard to friend or foe. |
Notes | |||
Availability: only on Halloween Genders: male, female or ungendered (they keep their original gender) Breeding: cannot breed Biomes: none, must be created Additional details at the DC Wiki: Zombie Dragon To create a Zombie Dragon, one needs to Revive a dead hatchling or dead adult on Halloween. It is a risky adventure, as the dragon might just as well desintegrate and stay dead. Once created, Zombie Dragons cannot be Killed, Released or Abandoned (unfrozen hatchlings will instantly Freeze if turned into a Zombie). The only way to remove them from a scroll is using the Expunge-BSA of a Soul Peace dragon. After their tombstones have faded away, zombies are only visible between 12 AM and 6 AM EST or on any 31st. They also used to "roam" the scroll, always changing position gradually, but they don't do that anymore. |
