About:
I'm a GD (General Discussion) moderator on the DC forums, and I've been around for almost a year now.
Requests & Gifts
For the most part I do not accept breeding requests. All my lists tend to be closed. The lists that I might open, or that have IOU lists are in a google doc. I will open them randomly, if I ever do, without notice. If any of those lists have an OPEN on them, then you can PM me on the forums. Otherwise, please do not PM me asking for any eggs.
Regarding DC
Overview
This section contains what I have found to be useful information.
Incubate
One common thing that comes up is a question regarding how many red dragons you need to incubate eggs. I calculated it out and arrived at the following numbers.
No Trophy:
Egg limit is 4. Assuming incubate is used on absolutely every egg, and the egg hatches at exactly 4 days, a person can have 28 eggs hatch in two weeks.
This means that they need 28 reds to incubate them all.
Bronze Trophy:
Egg limit is 5. Assuming incubate is used on absolutely every egg, and the egg hatches at exactly 4 days, a person can have 35 eggs hatch in two weeks.
This means that they need 35 reds to incubate them all.
Silver Trophy:
Egg limit is 6. Assuming incubate is used on absolutely every egg, and the egg hatches at exactly 4 days, a person can have 42 eggs hatch in two weeks.
This means that they need 42 reds to incubate them all.
Gold Trophy:
Egg limit is 7. Assuming incubate is used on absolutely every egg, and the egg hatches at exactly 4 days, a person can have 49 eggs hatch in two weeks.
This means that they need 49 reds to incubate them all.
The above is assuming that all eggs start out at 7 days. If you are a person who catches a lot of lower timed eggs, you may need more reds. For someone who, like myself, catches a medium number of lower timed eggs and fresh eggs, I would suggest somewhere around 65 red dragons in order to incubate them all.
Biomes
Another common question is "Which biome is dragon x in?"
There are a few ways to figure this out. Obviously, you can figure it out yourself through experience. But if you want a "cheat sheet" there are two options that I know about.
You can either go to the wiki under the page habitats and look for the egg you're looking for. Or you can refer to a handy spreadsheet that Seraphinu made.
Breeding Projects
The Lord of Pride lineage project is an LGBT pride project. As my forum profile suggests, I am openly gay and proud of who I am. Being gay is not something to be ashamed of, it is just who you are. In order to honor that, I made a rainbow lineage. The offspring are free for whoever wants one, just PM me on the forums.
Seraphinu and I are currently working on a mate for Reid's bronze tinsel Bronze Thuwed.
The overview of our project is located here. If you would like to donate any CBs to the project, PM either me or Seraphinu on the forums or in the IRC.
This is a project which I will need help with. I'm planning on starting the project with the first gen as a checkerboard tombstone x rosebud and then all further gens as silver tinsels. I'm aiming to start with, for a 5th gen, but we'll go from there.
The projected lineage will look like:
