Breeding
Welcome! I've had a 75% success rate in regards to breeding. I used to breed every day, but I've realized it's not always a good idea, so I toned it down to once a week. Feel free to browse my archive and if you'd like me to try a breeding for you, please let me know. I've recently switched my breeding times/goals. Now I breed only if there's something specific I want to do.

October 2009
- Oct.05.2009 - Erin Go Lag and Vire gave me another Lag Geode. That's twice in a row. I wonder if Vire is finally tiring of his playboy ways and is looking to settle down?
- Oct.02.2009 - Bred 2 Autumn Dorkface eggs, one of which was auto-abandoned…I hope someone continues the name, whoever has it.
September 2009
- Sept.06.2009 - Successfully bred a new edition to the Legendary Dorkface Line. Unfortunately I was trying for a Silver and it turned out to be red. I already have someone lined up to take it off my hands. Plus I'm trying to collect the newest eggs that were released at the end of August. I still want a cheese dragon, darnit!
August 2009
- Aug.25.2009 - Did a little split breeding today. I think I may need to find new mates for Gemini Stitch and Sew and Murtaugh and Riggs. This is the second time I've bred them together and they've shown no interest. Only problem is…I don't have any others I can breed them to because all my splits are related.
- Aug.10.2009 - I haven't done any hardcore breeding in a while. Been too busy trying to collect all the new eggs that have cropped up. Joined the New Rare Breeders line. Going to try to breed some Old Pinks for someone since they've become rare…no luck…they were all new pinks.
July 2009
- July.13.2009 - Today is my Lag Breeding day. I've decided to make Lag Of The Irish and his son, Lag Of The Dance non-exclusive breeders since I'd like to try to get different breeds of Lag Dragons. Erin Go Lag is happily mated to Golden Child of Vyraile.
- July.04.2009 - Happy Birthday America! Going to do some Gemini split and regular split breeding today. I did have a skywing I was hoping would gender female so I could start the Redwing Lineage, but as always, luck wasn't on my side and it gendered male. -sigh-
June 2009
- June.23.2009 - Well, I'm a little perturbed. One of my established Dorkface pairs, Kendra The High Priestess and Londinium Dorkface aren't showing any interest in each other. They have 2 kids at the moment. I'm seriously contemplating them having an open relationship and taking on other mates. Wonder what next week will bring?
- June.22.2009 - Bred my 1st Summer '09 today from Caramel Toffee (an Autumn) and Icey Snow Darkmoon (a Winter). Which is good because I bred them together once before to get a Spring. I think I have my 1st Seasonal Family, even though Icey has mated and produced with one other dragon. I'll just have to find a different mate for her.
- June.19.2009 - I was trying to breed Flaming Magma with Red Haze of Anger and I clicked on Extreme Violence by mistake. So now I have to wait another week before I can try again. Geez I'm stupid, lol!
- June.18.2009 - Breeding a pair of splits today. I was going to breed all of them, but then I realized that all of my splits but my Geminis and a pair I've only bred once - are all related - and I'm trying to avoid inbreeding at all costs. Hopefully my Geminis will be adults by this Friday so I can breed them before Saturday/Sunday midnight.
- June.04.2009 - Sorry I haven't been around lately, I was out of town for the last week and a half. Breeding will commence as normal. I tried breeding Extreme Violence and Flaming Magma again and there was no interest. I'll have to try with another red dragon. I also tried to breed my sunset with my gold and got no interest there as well.
May 2009
- May.03.2009 - I tried to breed Extreme Violence and Flaming Magma and got a swift refusal. I'll try again with them again at a later date. I think their babies will have some awesome names.
April 2009
- April.30.2009 - Erin Go Lag finally found a dragon she like!
- April.19.2009 - Erin Go Lag is one stubborn wench!!! Second week in a row she's refused a dragon.
- April.10.2009 - Spring has arrived!!!
- April.04.2009 - My breeding has recommenced. I'll be breeding on and off all day today.
March 2009
- March.28.2009 - All Breeding Projects are currently on hold while TJ gets situated with his new host (see my "News & Updates" section for details.
- March.15.2009 - Since I'm down to 1 egg and 1 hatchling, I thought I'd take part in Split Breeding Day on March 30th. I need to see if any of my child-less splits will breed together.
- March.13.2009 - I will not be doing any breeding this weekend. March 17th is Dragon Cave's Adopt-A-Green Day and I have to leave a spot open on my scroll.
- March.08.2009 - I finally got my Geode! I also bred my first male silver with a red I'd been trying to breed for nearly a month. She finally accepted a male to her liking and I'm proud to announce that the Dorkface line will continue. I just hope it's female because I have a name already picked out.
February 2009
- Feb.28.2009 - Since I had such good results today, I decided to forego my usual 5-pair breed cycle and did just 3.
- Feb.21.2009 - I just bred my frill, Othello McFrillian, with my other silver, Silent Fox and produced another silver. I thought about abandoning it, or at least offering it up on TGT but I decided to keep it, since I don't have that many silvers in the first place. I think the next silver I breed, I'll offer up on The Giving Tree.
- Feb.19.2009 - I want to thank Celestrina and her son from DC Forums for the adoption of the Valentine Egg. I appreciate it. And…yay! I have a Valentine Eggie!!
- Feb.14.2009 - I'm a complete idiot. I went to abandon an egg and wasn't paying attention and I killed it instead. Ugh! That's the first time ever that I've killed an egg. I felt horrible after I realized what I'd done. -Sigh-
- Feb.13.2009 - I caught a new Frill Dragon all by myself!! *Is full of squee!!*
- Feb.11.2009 - My dragons for my breeding project gendered today and I was lucky enough to get ones of the opposite gender! If they mature before Saturday, I will definitely be breeding the pair on Valentine's Day (now I hope my luck holds out and they take to one another *crosses fingers*).
- Feb.10.2009 - Did a special breeding between my only Stone and a Christmas 2008 just to see what would happen.
- Feb.09.2009 - Thank you arlymaye and her roomie for gifting me my very first paper.
- Feb.08.2009 - I finally have a male Magi! *Does Happy Butt Dance*

January 2009
- Jan.30.2009 - I've decided to temporarily suspend breeding Splits and Whites for the time being, and will instead move on to bringing up my Red and Gray numbers.
- Jan.26.2009 - Well…I suffered a major disappointment today. Just found out the caveborn split I picked up a week ago - that I was praying so hard would turn male - gendered female. -Sigh!- Now I can't breed Razz and Berry this weekend like I had planned, and can't until I pick up another male. The other two splits I have waiting to hatch are her relatives, and I refuse to inbreed no matter how much I want a male. I'll just have to either wait until one shows up in the Cave or snag one off the AP. Such is my luck.
- Jan.24.2009 - Breeding did not go so well this time around, especially with my Silver. I'll have to make an attempt with her in another week or so. Seeing as it's now 2:00 AM, I will try and breed again after I get some sleep…Resumed breeding at 11:45 AM, with better results.
- Jan.17.2009 - Had some pretty successful breedings today as you can see below.
- Jan.13.2009 - I've only just recently started keeping track of my breeding schedule, anything listed for 2009 is current and up-to-date. I try to breed every Saturday.
